Privacy Policy

This privacy policy applies to the Astro Blast mobile application (hereinafter "the App"), a retro arcade space shooter developed and published as an individual project.

By installing and using the App, you agree to the practices described in this policy.

1. Data the App does NOT collect

The App is designed to work fully offline and without an account. The developer does not collect, store, transmit, or sell:

2. Data stored locally on your device

The App stores the following only on your device, in private app storage that is not accessible to other apps:

You can clear all locally stored data by uninstalling the App.

3. Third-party services — advertising (AdMob)

The App displays advertising through Google AdMob, a Google service. AdMob is the only third party that may receive data from the App, and only when an ad is being shown.

The App uses two ad formats:

Why AdMob receives this data:

How to opt out of personalized advertising:

The developer does not control Google's data practices. For details, see:

4. Sound effects

The App plays short sound effects (shoot, explosion, power-up pickup, hit) generated locally on your device. The App does not stream, download, or upload any audio. No microphone access is used or requested.

5. Children

The App is intended for users 16 years and older. The App does not target children under 13 and complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA). The developer does not knowingly collect any data from children.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information through the App, please contact the developer (see Section 8) so the data can be removed.

6. Data security

Since the App does not collect, transmit, or store your personal data on any server, there is no server-side data that could be breached. The data that the App stores locally (only your high score) is protected by Android's standard app sandboxing.

7. Changes to this policy

The developer may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this document. If changes are material, the developer will make reasonable efforts to notify users (for example, through an in-app notice or an update note in the Play Store).

Your continued use of the App after a change indicates acceptance of the updated policy.

8. Contact

If you have any questions or concerns about this Privacy Policy or the App's data practices, please contact the developer at:

Email: afoningerman@gmail.com

The developer will respond within a reasonable timeframe (typically within 7 business days).

9. Your rights

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have rights regarding your personal data, including the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict its processing.

Since the App does not collect your personal data, most of these rights are not directly applicable. However, you can always:

10. Governing law

This Privacy Policy is governed by the laws of the developer's country of residence, without regard to its conflict of law provisions.
